On Sunday, February 2, 2025, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak presided over the Holy Liturgy at Mor Gabriel Church in Haworth, New Jersey, celebrated by V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Shabo and V. Rev. Aziz Hadodo. During the service, V. Rev. Fr. Aziz Hadodo delivered a sermon reflecting on the significance of the Presentation of Our Lord in the temple and the role of St. Simeon the Elder. A youth group brought the scene to life as part of the commemorationby reenacting the sacred moment. Dressed as the Virgin Mary, Joseph, and St. Simeon, they helped deepen the congregation’s connection to this biblical event. The Holy Liturgy concluded with a procession, marking the feast day. It was a blessed occasion filled with prayer and tradition.
